Last updated: 15 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies may be used on the websites centralbar.es and m.centralbar.es, what they are used for, who manages them, and how users can accept, reject or change their preferences.
1. Data controller
The controller of the Website is Camarena y Moltó, S.L., with Tax ID (NIF) B98419880 and registered address at Plaza Mercado Central, s/n, 46001 Valencia (Valencia), Spain. Contact email: centralbar@ricardcamarena.com.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files that are stored on, or read from, a user’s device when they visit a website. Similar technologies may also be used, such as pixels, tags, scripts or local storage, which are capable of remembering information, measuring how a page is used, or recognising a browser or device.
Some technologies are strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user or to enable basic functions of the Website. Others are used for analytics, measurement, external functionalities or advertising and, where required by law, are only activated once consent has been obtained.
3. Types of cookies and technologies used
The Website may use the following categories:
Necessary or technical: enable essential functions, security, navigation and management of consent preferences. Where strictly necessary, these do not require consent.
Functional: enable the display of external content or services, such as maps, or remember certain preferences. These will be activated with consent where required by law.
Analytics or measurement: provide aggregated insight into how the Website is used, measuring visits, sessions and pages viewed. These will be activated with consent unless a specific tool meets all legal requirements to be exempt.
Advertising or marketing: used to measure campaigns, conversions, ad attribution and audiences. These require prior consent.
4. Services and technologies present on the Website
The main tools used are described below. The actual list of cookies may vary if a provider changes its technology or if the Website’s configuration changes. The consent management tool must be kept in sync with the cookies actually in use at any given time.
- Website consent manager — Cookie: the consent-management tool’s own technical cookie (the name depends on the tool installed). Purpose: to remember the acceptance, rejection or configuration options chosen by the user. Indicative duration: as set by the consent manager, for as long as needed to remember the choice. Category: necessary; does not require consent.
- Google Analytics 4 — Cookie:
_ga. Purpose: to distinguish users and generate usage statistics for the Website. Duration: 2 years. Category: analytics; requires consent. - Google Analytics 4 — Cookie:
_ga_<container-id>. Purpose: to maintain session state and generate usage statistics. Duration: 2 years. Category: analytics; requires consent. - Google Tag Manager — Does not itself install any cookies. Purpose: to manage and deploy analytics, functional or marketing tags. Tags subject to consent must only be triggered once consent has been given. Category: depends on the tag being managed.
- Meta Pixel — Cookie:
_fbp. Purpose: to identify a browser for advertising measurement, attribution and analysis of Meta campaigns. Duration: 90 days. Category: marketing; requires consent. - Meta Pixel — Cookie:
_fbc(where the visit originates from a Meta ad with a click identifier). Purpose: to retain click attribution data to measure conversions. Duration: 90 days. Category: marketing; requires consent. - Google Maps — Google cookies and identifiers that may vary depending on configuration, browser, and whether the user is signed in to Google. Purpose: to display maps, locate the premises and provide geographic functionality. Duration: depends on the cookie or identifier used by Google. Category: functional; must remain blocked until consent is obtained where it involves storage of, or access to, non-exempt information on the device.
- GetResponse — Cookies, pixels or identifiers associated with forms, landing pages or GetResponse resources, where integrated into the Website. Purpose: to manage subscription forms, newsletter sign-ups, form functionality and, where authorised, measurement relating to communications. Duration: depends on the technology and service configuration. Category: necessary for the requested submission where strictly technical; analytics/marketing where applicable and consent has been given.
- Metricool – visit tracker — The tracker described by Metricool does not use cookies, does not store information on the device, and does not assign unique identifiers when configured in its anonymous measurement mode. Purpose: to measure aggregated visits and page views. Duration: no cookies are stored in this configuration. Category: cookie-free audience measurement; may fall outside the scope of cookie consent if the configuration and conditions described by Metricool and the AEPD (Spanish Data Protection Agency) are maintained.
Technical note: Google Analytics currently documents a default duration of 2 years for _ga and _ga_<container-id>. Meta Pixel typically uses _fbp and, where applicable, _fbc for advertising attribution. Google Maps and GetResponse may introduce different identifiers depending on the component and configuration used, so the consent manager’s inventory should be reviewed after any technical change.
5. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
The Website uses Google Analytics 4 to obtain statistics on how it is used. Google Analytics’ analytics cookies must not be installed until the user has accepted the relevant category. Google Tag Manager is used as a tag management system; it must not be used to trigger tools subject to consent before that consent has been given.
Provider for users in the European Economic Area: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, without prejudice to other processing activities or sub-processors within the Google group that may be involved under their own terms.
6. Meta Pixel
The Website uses Meta Pixel to measure conversions, attribute results to campaigns and obtain statistical information on interaction with Meta adverts. This technology falls under the marketing category and must not be activated until the user has given consent.
Main provider in the European Economic Area: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland.
7. Google Maps
The Website may include Google Maps to display Central Bar’s location. Loading maps may involve the transmission of technical information to Google, including the IP address, and the use of cookies or other identifiers. Where consent is required, the map must remain blocked until the user accepts the relevant functional category.
8. GetResponse
GetResponse is used to manage subscription forms, newsletter sign-ups and electronic communications. Depending on how a form or landing page is integrated, GetResponse may use cookies, pixels or other technologies. Strictly technical technologies may be used where necessary to provide the requested service; analytics or marketing technologies will only be activated where valid consent has been given.
Provider: GetResponse S.A., registered in Gdańsk, Poland, within the European Economic Area.
9. Metricool
The Website loads a Metricool tracker to obtain aggregated metrics on visits and page views. According to Metricool’s current documentation, its visit tracker for connected websites does not use cookies, does not store information on the device, does not assign unique identifiers, and does not retain the IP address; the IP is used only for the duration of the technical connection. This configuration may fall outside the scope of cookie consent provided it remains strictly limited to audience measurement and meets the applicable requirements.
Should Metricool’s configuration change, additional functionality be enabled, or identifiers or cookies be introduced, this Policy and the consent manager must be reviewed before any such changes are put into production.
10. Consent: accepting, rejecting and managing preferences
On first accessing the Website, users must be able to accept, reject or configure the technologies subject to consent. The “Accept” and “Reject” options must be displayed at the same time, at the same level, and with equivalent visibility.
No cookies or analytics, functional or marketing technologies subject to consent will be installed or activated before the user has expressed their choice. Inaction, continued browsing, or the use of pre-ticked boxes will not be regarded as valid consent.
Users may subsequently withdraw or change their consent via the permanent “Cookie settings” link or button, which must be available on the Website. Withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it.
11. International transfers
Some technology providers belong to international groups and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this involves an international transfer of personal data, the safeguards provided for under the General Data Protection Regulation will apply, such as an adequacy decision, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, standard contractual clauses, or other legally valid mechanisms.
12. Managing cookies from your browser
In addition to the Website’s settings panel, users can delete or block cookies through their browser settings. The location of these options depends on the browser and its version. Blocking cookies generally may affect the operation of some pages or services.
Help information for the main browsers can be found on their official pages: Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge.
13. Provider information
Further information on the technologies used can be found in the providers’ documentation: Google Analytics – use of cookies; Google – privacy and terms; Meta – Privacy Policy; GetResponse – Cookie Policy; Metricool – use of cookies and tracker; Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) – Guide on cookies.
14. Updates to this Cookie Policy
This Policy may be updated when the technologies used, their providers, the purposes of processing, or applicable law change. The version in force will be the one published on the Website, showing the date it was last updated. For any queries about this Cookie Policy, please write to centralbar@ricardcamarena.com. For matters relating to personal data protection or the exercise of rights, please contact contabilidad@camarenagastronomia.com.
